What can acupuncture treat?

Although acupuncture is often described as a means of pain relief, it is in fact used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. KMS Acupuncture focuses on understanding and treating the root causes of disease as well as alleviating the specific symptoms a patient presents with. This can lead to a more permanent resolution of your problem.

Since acupuncture is aimed at treating the whole person, patients often report improvements in general well-being such as digestion, sleep patterns, stress and energy levels as a result of treatment.

Since the 1970s, the World Health Organisation has recognised the ability of acupuncture to treat many common conditions.

Listed below are examples of specific conditions that can be treated with acupuncture. Its uses are much broader than can be explained here, however. If you’d like to discuss a condition not included on the list, please feel free to contact Diane.
