Diane Timewell Acupuncture
For health and well-being

What does it feel like?

Acupuncture needles are very small and very fine. They resemble pins much more than they resemble western medical needles.

When an acupuncture needle is inserted, the initial sensation is often described as a tingling or dull ache. This usually subsides very quickly and is replaced by a feeling of deep relaxation

Needles are usually left in place for approximately 20 minutes.

Since acupuncture treatment is aimed at treating the whole person, most people report an improvement in general well-being – digestion, sleep patterns, stress and energy levels – as a result of treatment.
